Chemical Field Service Tech - Oahu

Pural Water Specialty Company, Inc. is an experienced State of Hawaii licensed contractor providing services for potable and non-potable water systems along with specialty mechanical process programs and solutions.  We have been serving the people of Hawaii and the Pacific for over 30 years.

During State emergencies, Pural Water Specialty is considered an Essential Service Provider, able to meet the operational needs for our customers and provide continuous, steady work.

We are seeking for an individual to join our Industrial Chemical team and are willing to train if you:

Our Chemical Service Techs maintain, service and provide chemical treatment for our customer’s boiler, cooling tower and closed loop systems to ensure energy efficiency and proper maintenance of their equipment.

Primary duties

  • Performs routine preventive and corrective maintenance to water chemical treatment equipment and tests the equipment to ensure it is running efficiently.

  • Monitors and checks the operation of all the components of the water chemical feed and bleed system.

  • Recommends to customer’s improvements/upgrades needed to extend the life of their equipment.

  • Documents all work and services made to the equipment at each customer’s site location.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biological sciences preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean traffic abstract.

  • Mechanically inclined and competent working with hand held tools.

  • Must be able to clear background checks for access to secure work sites.

  • Able to work in confined spaces.
