INDUSTRIAL CHEMICAL SERVICE TECH - OAHU

 Postion Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Checks and monitors the operation of controller, percentage timers, chemical feed system, solenoid valve, and all components of the chemical feed system.
  • Performs routine preventive and corrective maintenance on chemical feed system which includes: chemical pumps, controller as well as programmed set points, check for leaks and test all equipment for proper operation.
  • Performs routine chemical testing of cooling water which consist of tower water, chill water loop, condenser water loop and raw water.
  • Ensures all readings are within recommended range. If system is not within suggested range recommends the necessary adjustments.
  • Ensures the customer has sufficient chemical online and re-stocks as needed.
  • Transports tools, equipment and parts to job site as needed.
  • Replaces necessary equipment if needed and provides recommendations to customers to improve the efficiency of their system.
  • Submits to customers a written service report and documents in log book located at each job site.

 

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field or 2 years recent related work experience preferred.
  • Current valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple deadlines at the same time.
  • Detail oriented and strong customer service skills.

We are currently seeking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our Oahu team. Our Admin Assistant provides support to our Field Techs and field operations. The Admin Assistant works closely with the Field Techs and provides them information and documentations needed for their job.  Audits the Tech’s daily logs and data enter their timesheets.  Has frequent contact on the phone with customers, the public, contractors and owners.
